Diver visibility reports

Marla integrates satellite imagery, weather forecasts, and coastal conditions to forecast underwater visibility. However, we need your firsthand experiences to calibrate the data.

To fine-tune our satellite and weather data, we rely on your direct observations of underwater conditions. Your viz reports play a crucial role in calibrating and training our AI algorithms, ensuring our forecasts align with the real-world conditions.

Each visibility report is a building block, shaping the accuracy of our forecasts. The more reports we receive, the better our predictions become. So, if you're exploring the depths in the UK or Ireland, lend us your insights by submitting your visibility reports.

About Marla

Founded by passionate divers who happened to be scientists, Marla (trading as Ocean AI Ltd) is on a quest to build a visibility forecasting tool.

We had some ideas about how we could leverage satellite capabilities and state-of-of-the-art AI algorithms, and Marla was created.

Predicting undersea visibility is tough, but we’re up for the challenge. With every divers valuable input, we believe in our collective ability to create something remarkable.

Marla is an extra tool to help you pick the right day and spot for a safe and fun dive.
